Olukemi Ajayi is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of progressive nursing experience across psychiatric, behavioral health, medical-surgical, rehabilitation, and crisis care settings. As Chief NP at AZE Mind and Wellness Center, she leads with clinical excellence, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their path to mental wellness.
Olukemi earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Calumet. Her diverse clinical background includes serving as a Crisis Nurse, Psychotropic Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health RN, Director of Clinical Services, and Charge Nurse. This breadth of experience allows her to approach mental health care with a well-rounded, evidence-based, and patient-centered perspective.
She has extensive experience treating Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and insomnia. Olukemi believes mental health care should be collaborative and empowering. She works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle strategies tailored to their unique needs.
